Compliance

Everything the month owes, for every person on site.

Employees, contract workers, daily-wage workers, apprentices and vendor staff each carry their own rules. Teamnet keeps one record for the employer and each contractor, checks every person on the rules for their type, and shows each gap before the due date.

The problem

One month, five sets of rules.

Rarely one big lapse. Small gaps between the people who hold each part of the month.

Every type kept in a different placePayroll for employees, each contractor's registers for contract workers, a separate sheet for apprentices.
Due dates spread across the monthPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and licence renewals each fall on their own date.
The same worker, five figuresDays in the muster, the wage register, the bank file and the return do not always agree.
Found at audit, not in the monthBy then the month is closed and the fix is harder for everyone.
Who it covers

Each person, on the rules for their type.

The type is set for each person, never assumed. Everyone shares the basics; each type adds its own.

Shared by everyone

Attendance and gate entry, the Teamnet app, a payslip, leave, a route for grievances, and one record of the month.

Employees

TDS and Form 16, tax declarations, PF and ESIC where they apply, gratuity, bonus, full and final, and appointment letters - run on Teamnet HRMS and payroll, approved by your HR.

HRMS and payroll →

Contract workers

The contractor's licence, wage register and muster, PF and ESIC where they apply, and the principal employer's duties under the law - checked on the contractor's month before HR approves.

How a contractor month closes →

Daily-wage workers

Days and wages recorded day by day, and each day's wage checked against the minimum wage for the state and skill.

Apprentices

Kept as their own type: attendance and training days recorded on the apprenticeship terms, and never put on employee or contract-worker rules.

Vendor staff

Entry for the days they are on site, with their employer's papers on record before they start.

Under the labour codes "employee" is wider than "worker", so each line above claims only what applies to that type.

How it works

One October, checked before each date.

Questions buyers ask.

Is it only PF and ESIC?

No. Wages, contributions, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, registers, licences, hours, returns and inspections - for each type of person on site.

Our state is not set up yet. What happens?

Items for that state are flagged for review with the reason, never guessed. We add the state's rules with you.

Does Teamnet file the returns?

Teamnet prepares the returns from the approved month. Your team or the contractor files them.

Can an inspector see the records?

Yes - read-only access for a set time, with every correction on record.

Does it work outside India?

Yes. Every country runs on its own rules. See Global.
