Teamnet Manufacturing

Every order, from plan to finished goods.

Machine monitoring, production on the floor and an ERP if you want one. Plans your machines and material can actually run, every stage recorded where it happens, machines that report their own status - on one app for everyone on the line, connected to your own ERP.

Follow one order through the plant ↓

The problem

Where a plant's day slips.

Rarely one big failure. Small gaps between people, machines and the store, found at shift end.

Plans the floor cannot runAn order is promised before anyone checks the machine, the size or the material.
Material that is never reconciledIssued to the line, partly used, partly returned, partly scrap - and nobody adds it up.
Stops found at shift endA machine stood idle for an hour; the reason is a guess written later.
Paper at the lineOutput, checks and labels written by hand and typed again into a spreadsheet.
How it works

Follow one order through the plant.

Order 2207, a printed packaging job, from the planner's desk to labelled finished goods. Every screen below is an Example.

Step 1

Plan it against what you really have

Who acts: Planner

The planner places the order on a machine that can run its size and print, checks the material in stock, and sees the operators with the right skill for the shift. A plan that cannot run is flagged before it reaches the floor.

  • Who gains
  • PlannerOne screen for machine, material and people - no calls to three departments.
  • Plant headPromises made on what the plant can run.
Step 2

Receive and check the material

Who acts: StoresQuality

Each reel or lot is checked at the dock - quantity and weight against the documents, condition, labels, paperwork - then registered and labelled. A damaged reel goes to a quality location and stays out of pickable stock.

  • Who gains
  • StoresA label is printed only for a checked reel, so stock on screen is stock you can use.
  • SupplierA clear record of what arrived and in what condition, the same day.
Step 3

Issue it to the line

Who acts: StoresLine leader

Stores issue the reserved material and the line confirms it arrived. The order can start only when its material is at the machine - no half-started jobs waiting for a reel.

  • Who gains
  • Line leaderStarts with everything at the machine.
  • FinanceEvery issue recorded against the order it was for.
Step 4

Start right, first good product

Who acts: Production managerQuality

The production manager authorises the start on the app. The first good product is approved by quality before steady running begins, and start-up waste is recorded against the order.

  • Who gains
  • QualityApproval by a named person with a time, never a signature on paper.
  • Plant headStart-up waste visible per order, so it can come down.
Step 5

Every stage recorded where it happens

Who acts: OperatorLine leader

Operators record output each hour and give a reason when the machine stops, on the Teamnet app at the line. It keeps working when the network drops and sends when it is back.

  • Who gains
  • OperatorTwo taps on a phone instead of a register.
  • Line leaderSees the shift hour by hour, not at the end.
Step 6

Machines that report themselves

Who acts: MaintenancePlant head

Sensors and machine controllers send status and energy readings directly. A stop, an overheating motor or unusual power draw raises an alert to the right person, and steps up if nobody responds.

  • Who gains
  • MaintenanceThe alert arrives when it happens, with the machine and the reading.
  • Plant headIdle time and energy per machine, without walking the floor.
Step 7

Quality at every stage

Who acts: Quality

Quality checks follow a checklist per stage. A rejection carries its reason; rework becomes its own order so it is counted, not lost.

  • Who gains
  • QualityChecks and reasons in one place, ready for a customer audit.
  • Your customerA lot with its quality history attached.
Step 8

Labelled as it comes off the line

Who acts: StoresDispatch

Finished goods are weighed, given a unique serial and labelled in your customer's label format. Every scan afterwards - store, dispatch - is checked against that label.

  • Who gains
  • Stores and dispatchScan, do not type.
  • Your customerLabels in the format they asked for.
Step 9

Shift handover and reconciliation

Who acts: Line leaderFinance

The outgoing shift hands over open issues on the app. When the order closes, material issued is matched against finished goods, returns and waste, so the difference has a name.

  • Who gains
  • FinanceMaterial cost per order from records, not estimates.
  • Plant headLosses named by stage and reason, so the next order runs better.
Who uses it

One record, a view for each role.

Everyone sees the same order. Each role sees what it acts on.

  • Plant headEvery line and order today, losses by reason, machines live.
  • PlannerOrders placed on machines, material and skills that fit.
  • StoresReceive, check, label and issue - stock you can trust.
  • Line leaderStart, assign, follow the shift, hand over.
  • OperatorOutput and stops on the Teamnet app, in their language.
  • QualityFirst good product, stage checks, rework.
  • MaintenanceAlerts as they happen, service due before a breakdown.
  • FinanceMaterial and waste per order, in your ERP.
Your process

Your stages, not a generic template.

Teamnet Manufacturing comes with stage sets for common processes and is set up to your own.

  • Paper and packaging
  • Plastic pipe and extrusion
  • Food packaging
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Automotive parts
  • Metal fabrication
  • Project engineering
Machines

Connects to the machines you have.

Newer machines connect through their controllers; older ones through a sensor and a small gateway. Readings arrive in seconds.

Machine controllers

Industrial standards such as OPC UA and Modbus.

Sensors and gateways

Status, energy, temperature and counts from machines without a controller.

Energy and footprint

Energy per machine and per order, with a carbon figure for your reports.

One Teamnet

The people on the line are already on Teamnet.

The employees and contract workers who run each line are the same people Teamnet Workforce counts at the gate and pays each month. Shift plans use the skills on record; the operator records output on the same Teamnet app they use for attendance and payslips. One app for every Teamnet product, with one login - free for employees and workers. Connected when you want them to be - each product also works on its own.

Who is on each line comes from the Teamnet-made dual-lane full-height turnstiles at the gate.

  • Who gains
  • EmployerProduction and people on one record - who ran which machine, on which shift.
  • ContractorThe manpower plan and skills needed, shared ahead of the shift.
  • Employees and workersOne free app for their day, their output and their pay.

ERP

Keep your ERP, or add ours.

Teamnet Manufacturing connects to your own ERP: orders come in, production and stock movements go back. If you want finance, purchasing and sales on the same records, add Teamnet ERP.

Questions

What plant heads ask us.

Do we have to replace our ERP?

No. Teamnet Manufacturing connects to the ERP you have. You can add Teamnet ERP later if you want one.

Our machines are old. Can they be connected?

Yes. Machines with a controller connect directly. Older machines get a sensor and a small gateway that sends status, energy and counts.

What do operators need?

A phone or a shared tablet at the line with the Teamnet app. Screens are simple, in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil and more, and keep working when the network drops.

Can we start with one line?

Yes. Most plants start with one line or one stage, then add the rest. The setup follows your stages, not ours.

Where is our data kept?

On Teamnet Cloud, hosted in Europe, with each company's data kept separate.

Can it print our customers' label formats?

Yes. Finished-goods labels are set up in the format each of your customers asks for, and every later scan is checked against them.

We have several plants. One view?

Yes. Each plant runs its own lines; the plant head and owner see all of them together.

Do we need Teamnet Workforce as well?

No. Teamnet Manufacturing works on its own. With Workforce, who is on each line and their skills come across directly, so shift plans and output share one record.
